Once again, we will meet at Temple Beth El this coming Friday morning. They have graciously welcomed us this Spring for the two Fridays we have been unable to meet at PUMC.

 

Directions to Temple Beth El:

  • Enter Shalom Park at the light – 5007 Providence Rd.
  • At the T-intersection, turn right, then make an immediate right.
  • Turn left into the parking lot for Temple Beth El.

Mr. Fisk will discuss the current state of the Charlotte Symphony Orchestra and its plans for the upcoming season and beyond.  Those who are unfamiliar with the Symphony will leave with an understanding of its situation and plans.  Those who are already aware of the Symphony will gain a greater appreciation of the ensemble.

Wildacres Retreat

Register now! The ever-popular Wildacres retreat in the beautiful North Carolina mountains is scheduled for April 22 – 25, 2024, the dates assigned to us by Wildacres management. Speakers this year are Associate Justice Anita Earls, NC Supreme Court, and Dr. Chelsea Kaufman, Assistant Professor, Wingate University. The Wildacres Committee is already accepting completed registration forms and checks that are mailed in advance; over 60 members have registered. Talk with your friends now to arrange a roommate for the retreat. Go to the Senior Scholars website to download a Wildacres registration form.
