Our next program meeting will be Friday, January 12, 2024. The speaker that day will be Dr. Chelsea Kaufman, Assistant Professor, Political Science at Wingate University. Her topic will relate to the 2024 election. Chelsea will provide an overview of how political attitudes and voting behaviors have varied across rural and urban areas over the last several election cycles and discuss what this might mean for 2024, especially in "swing states"; like North Carolina.

Save the dates! The ever-popular Wildacres retreat in the beautiful North Carolina mountains is scheduled for April 22 – 25, 2024, the dates were assigned by Wildacres management. Associate Justice Anita Earls, NC Supreme Court, and Dr. Chelsea Kaufman, Assistant Professor, Wingate University, will speak at the retreat. Registration retreat will open on January 19, 2024. See future emails for more detailed information about the program.
